REPORTS TO: VP of Sales and Business Development

LOCATION: Based out of Chicago, Remote with once a month in-office gatherings

SALARY: $45,000 – $55,000

About the Role:

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will support the maintenance, strategy and analysis of Packed with Purpose’s marketing and digital presence. As someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, and has the desire to manage various responsibilities, you will support revenue generating activities, from email development to website updates to analytics management. 

You will work closely with various departments, including Sales, Operations and Strategy to support the growth of a growing brand that enables businesses and consumers to create a social impact through the everyday act of gift giving. What will you do?

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Email Marketing and CRM Management

  • Draft copy, build and deploy emails in Hubspot (CRM database) for marketing newsletters, event-follow up, and as part of prospecting campaigns 
  • Collaborate with VP of Strategy and VP of Sales and Business Development on our annual content and email calendar
  • Oversee general CRM management including list segmentation, analytics and reporting
  • Build and deploy landing pages as part of campaign calendar 
  • Build and deploy customer surveys across the customer funnel 

Website Editing and Maintenance

  • Program daily/weekly website updates to within the WordPress CMS platforms (content management system)
  • Liaise with key team members (Sales, Strategy, Design) to maintain CMS updates
  • Maintain Shopify (ecommerce) website with gift curations, product and Impact Partner details

Digital Advertising

  • Support SEO-optimized keyword research (through Ahrefs tool)
  • Support Affiliate marketing efforts, including partner analysis and recommendations to senior leadership (through
  • Support social media programming, including proofreading and scheduling posts; Respond to customer and prospect feedback or inquiries across platforms

Data Analysis

  • Assist in all matters related to data analytics, including: generating reports and identifying insights across digital efforts, including: email (Hubspot), website (WordPress), customer surveys (Survey Monkey) and ecommerce (Shopify) performance

Marketing and Revenue Generating Support as Needed

  • Support periodic and quarterly competitive research and client analysis 
  • Maintain the organization’s testimonial gathering process and management system 
  • Maintain the organization’s Master Marketing and Product database
  • Support special projects such as the preparation of products and materials for gift photography sessions, Annual Impact Report

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience; experience working on a digital team required
  • Experience working within a CMS, preferably WordPress to update websites required
  • Basic knowledge of HTML is a plus
  • Familiarity with Hubspot (or other CRM database) is a plus
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets, Excel is a plus
  • Familiarity in using insights & analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hubspot Reports, Survey Monkey is preferred
  • Familiarity with social media, specifically Linkedin experience, is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and complete responsibilities in a fast paced, changing environment
