About the Role

We’re looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team, based in Chicago, or remotely within the United States. In this role you will work directly with the VP of Revenue and the Operations Team to manage the full sales cycle: from initial inquiry to order processing to relationship management. You will apply your deep knowledge of our gifts and corporate services to consistently deliver exceptional client service. The successful candidate will combine superior attention to detail and organizational skills with excellent client  service abilities. What Will You Do?

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• CRM Management: Maintain and actively update all aspects of client database in our CRM (Hubspot), including contacts, accurate pipeline and deal information

  • Client Order Processing: Manage inbound prospect and client inquiries, including receiving and processing orders, error-free, into order management system (Hubspot)
  • Business Development: Strategically sell Packed with Purpose gifts to prospects through phone, virtual meetings, and email
  • Communication Workflows: Set up and manage various workflows from deal creation to emails through our CRM (Hubspot) to streamline client management and outreach
  • Communication Management: Maintain all client communication tools: from templates to sequences to snippets
  • Customer Support: Address questions through email and chatbot; investigate errors or concerns and offer solutions swiftly and professionally
  • Relationship Building: Use historical sales data to create quality re-order and upsell opportunities
  • Client Insights: Provide relevant updates e.g. customer feedback trends and seasonal requests to inform future process improvements, gift curations etc.
  • Use proactive problem solving to competently and quickly resolve customer concerns of varying complexity e.g. questions on how to place orders, updating order data such as gift message or shipping address

The Ideal Candidate will have:

Experience with Hubspot CRM software

Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment and work across business needs

Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, representing the Packed with Purpose values

Relationship-building skills and an understanding of the long-term potential of client connections beyond the current transaction

Deft problem solving abilities to balance client needs / requests with business constraints

Ability to prioritize projects and structure daily workflow according to deadlines, business need and shipping schedules

Excellent organizational skills, including exceptional attention to detail

Creativity and curiosity to address inefficiencies and recommend innovative solutions

Strong working knowledge of Excel preferred

Desire to partner with a dynamic team and genuine support of our mission to create social impact
