Kris Christian is a proud coffee enthusiast and social entrepreneur, and the inspirational founder of Chicago French Press. Kris founded CFP in 2016 after she realized there was simply not a bold or flavorful enough cup of coffee out there for her and she set out to craft her own.
It all began with her grinding up her own coffee beans with dried fruits, nuts, and even chocolate. Finally, a coffee that was both strong and packed a flavorful punch. All CFP coffee is organic, single-origin, and custom-roasted. CFP “grinds for a cause,” partnering with nonprofit organizations to donate 5% of proceeds from each bag sold to a wide variety of causes including Alzheimer’s awareness and research, anti-violence programming on Chicago’s south side, and public art projects for youth.
