Peaceful Fruits creates healthy snacks containing nothing but whole, organic fruit that is sustainably and ethically sourced.
The company grew out of founder, Evan Delahany’s work in the Amazon as a Peace Corps volunteer and now works to sustain that rain forest by buying nearly all its fruit from the Amazon. This enables indigenous communities to harvest profitably, an essential element to saving the forests themselves.
Here at home, Peaceful Fruits helps people with developmental disabilities earn a fair wage by hiring them to fill nearly every position in the production of its snacks. To date, Peaceful Fruits has provided over 3,510 hours of full wage employment for people with disabilities and 80,300 lbs of ethically sourced fruit, much of it helping to sustain the Amazon rain forest.
