Denik

Denik was founded out of a desire to bring creative, cause-based notebooks to life by an artist who was told he shouldn’t pursue art as a career. Co-Founders Jake and Tyler were inspired to showcase the artistic talents of students and artists on the covers of notebooks. With each one-of-a-kind notebook sold, a portion of the proceeds was set aside to fund the building of a school in Mali, Africa. Since their launch in 2011 they have built a movement of artists and creative professionals whose talents have successfully funded 5 schools as of 2018 across Mali, Guatemala, Laos and Ghana. In partnership with Pencils of Promise, these schools offer a secure space for children to learn and grow, discovering their own personal talents. With the goal of showing people that “Art Can Change the World” every Denik notebook supports artists and builds schools in communities in need.
