Beyond Good By Madecasse

Founded by Peace Corps volunteers who worked in Madagascar, Beyond Good was started with two goals: first, to create exceptional chocolate using real heirloom cocoa and second, to bring transparency to the chocolate industry. By working directly with some of the poorest communities in the world, the Beyond Good team buys all of their cocoa directly from farmers instead of through middlemen, allowing them to pay the farmers better wages and source original, heirloom cocoa direct from the source. Additionally, Beyond Good organizes annual volunteer trips help to build schools and water systems across Madagascar expanding their commitment to the communities where their cocoa is grown.
