Welly’s founder, Ben Kander, believes every person on the planet should have access to clean water. Welly was born out of the imprint Ben’s mother’s life left on him after her death from cancer in 2012, as well as an eye-opening look at how toxins and chemicals impact our bodies and environment. Through a partnership with charity: water, an organization that saves lives through clean water and sanitation projects in developing countries, Welly donates $1 from each bottle sold.
Their first project helped people in the village of Mai Welay, Ethiopia. Since then, Welly has focused their efforts on building wells in areas designated as high need. Each Welly water bottle, wrapped in sustainably harvested bamboo, is perfect for hot or cold drinks and comes with a removable infuser so you can enjoy any drink, any time.
