Founded by Dale Anderson, a counselor for young people in the court system, Confections with Convictions grew out of a realization that many of these individuals were facing systemic barriers to becoming successful. After three years studying the art of chocolate-making, Anderson opened Confections with Convictions in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 2010. Since then, they’ve helped dozens of young people overcome barriers through meaningful employment and new beginnings. In celebration of its 12th anniversary, Confections with Convictions announced a new partnership with Jennifer Faketty and Stephanie VandenBosch. Together, they will expand the mission of the company to include individuals in recovery.
In addition to transforming lives through the power of employment, Confections with Convictions also creates wholesome, high-quality artisanal chocolates, using organic and fair trade ingredients and environmentally-friendly processes and packaging. Full of goodness inside and out, the delicacies crafted by Confections with Convictions will delight your friends through both their taste and their impact.
