My Cup of Tea believes each woman has a purpose, regardless of economic status or race. Their mission is to walk with women beyond the boundaries of poverty and neglect and assist them in finding their purpose. In addition to producing delicious and unique organic tea, My Cup of Tea has helped countless generationally poor women in the Memphis community over the years by transforming their lives through vocational training, GED preparation, computer literacy, employment, and emotional support.
Founded in 2006, My Cup of Tea has over 30 varieties of tea and is the only Memphis-based tea company. Based in the oldest African American community in America, Orange Mound, My Cup of Tea is a community led organization that strives to empower women to reach their highest potential.
