Founded over 20 years ago near the Seattle coast, Coro Foods by Salumi is now a booming women owned business producing handcrafted (and absolutely delicious) artisan cured meats. Armandino and Marilyn Batali started Salumi with one key goal in mind: create the perfect blend of old world techniques and new world flavors.
Generations later, the business has been passed on to two longtime friends, Clara Veniard and Martinique Grigg, who carry a strong belief that “eating well is what we live for”. All Coro products are produced in small batches using all natural, thoughtfully-sourced ingredients, from their flavorful spices to their humanely raised, vegetarian-fed, antibiotic free pork. Carefully tended by an expert production team including a Chief Curing Officer and Head Chef, Coro is preserving Italian tradition and flavor one piccolo salami at a time.
